The Members analysed and interpreted the steps taken by
the Principal for the improvement of the Vidyalaya results,
for the said purpose the principal had already held PTA
meeting in the Vidyalaya on 30.08.2009 and the progress
of the students was analysed. The Principal directed the
teachers to take extra classes of Class X and XII. Which
are taken now by the teachers in the morning from 7.30
a.m. to 8.15 a.m. and in the afternoon from 2.10
p.m. to 3.00 p.m. Even the extra classes for IX and XI
are also taken in the Science and Mathematics subjects
so that the result of this academic session may
be 100 % with quality.

The Co-opted Member Mr. Karma Leki, Project Director,
DRDA Tawang suggested to the Principal to make an agreement
with APST Authorities Tawang to make an arrangement for
plying the buses between K V Tawang to the City and rest
of the places from where the children come so that the
strength of the students may increase from the present
strength of 195 in the coming session. Because students
come from a distance of about 7 to 8 Km the fare charges
of present bus/van is unaffordable for low income
group parents. Hence APST will be requested to provide
buses as per the requirement of the Vidyalaya. Agreement
will be done with APST Tawang authorities in the presence
of Chairman, Bus Passes will be issued to students. proper
format will be devised which will be annexed with admission
form. for this purpose Tender formalities will be done
in the coming session.

The Chairman , Sh. Lobsang Phunchu, ADC Tawang advised
the Principal to hold/convene the meeting with the authorities
of APST in his chamber to solve the problem regarding
bus.
All the members of VMC suggested to write a letter to
Executive Engineer PWD Tawang for maintenance of the road
connecting to the Vidyalaya which is inconvenient for
van/bus drivers under intimation to D.C. Tawang.

The Executive Engineer PHED & Electricity will be
requested for better water and power supply in the Vidyalaya.
|
|
Select guests invitees in the VMC from departments of
PWD, PHED and Power , who would preferably be not less
than the rank of Executive Engineer as all departmental
related schemes for the K. V. Tawang are being executed
by the above agencies.

Padmashree Thuptan Phuntso, Principal Manjushree Vidyapeeth
Tawang suggested for sincere efforts to be done to bring
quality as well as 100 % result. It should be qualitatively
good in comparison to other institutes and KVs because
selection in K V is done only after proper entrance examination
and merit.

Since the Strength of the students is 195 as on 31st
August the Vidyalaya has scarcity of VVN for maintenance
and beatification. The members of the VMC advised to the
Principal to request to A.C. KVS Guwahati Region to release
the funds for the following works / programmes.
